Field Notes
Description:
Around 6cm long, excluding the tail. Light colouration in shades of Brown and grey, with dark stripes running down the back. Whole body is covered in dark spots, with orange throat and cheeks. As its missing the black patch on the throat, I assume this to be a female.
Habitat:
Lava rocks on the beach, close to La Playita.
Notes:
Lava lizards belong to the Iguanidae family, being related to Iguanas.
