Description:

This early specimen was making a cautious try on the ladybug - but once it moved, he retreated, knowing that this is no prey for a lynx spider.

Well...it's one of 175.000, maybe that's why ;) Anyway - Thanks a lot, Argybee.
Superb LarsKorb. I don't know how I missed these.
Oh, I was so caught by the pictures that I didn't even read the description
Thanks, Ilya - no, the ladybug was alive...as told in the description, the spider cautiously touched it, the ladybug moved and making the spider retreat.
You seem to have interesting spiders. Cellar, nursery etc etc. Yesterday, 10 months after joining Noah , I saw a jumping spider for the first time . Now I can understand why they call it a jumping spider. Wonder how people photograph it though. I spend 10 months being totally puzzled!
Great pictures by the way! An the light.. lucky you!
cool spotting !
Well, that's one ant less. Only 7^455 to go on that spot... I havent seen those photos yet, will have a look now.
Yes, i think it is an ant, too. The ants have been about 40m from this spotting - I also caught the ants, they're already uploaded. (though ants move definetely too fast for my cam's sensor - but I am somehow satisfied with the outcome)
You sure did... is the spider holding an ant or something under him/her, or what is it? It looks like small antennas.
Thanks a lot - I really had perfect light today
Goodness...! Those are great photos. Well done!
