Description:

It is a saprobic fungus in the Sarcoscyphaceae family in the Pezizales order of Ascomycota.

Habitat:

Found in the domain d'Avalon, St Hugon near Arvillard in French Savoy. A pristine forest preserved and cared for by the Karma Ling buddhist monastery.
