Description:

This climber is native to South America and the West Indies but now widely spread throughout the tropical regions of the world.

Habitat:

The seeds of the Wild Passion Fruit plant are widely spread by birds, wind and water. It is a common, fast growing weed in coastal areas and grows over other plants or on the ground, often strangeling and choking native vegetation.

Notes:

The yellow-orange fruit is can be eaten raw but when green are highly toxic!
