Description:

This moss is tangled with the sporophytes of a liverwort growing underneath it. I am looking for the identity of the moss, not the liverwort. You can see a few capsules of the moss even though they are vastly outnumbered by the liverwort capsules. My first guess on the identity of the moss is rhytidiadelphus loreus, but I'm hoping for a second opinion.

Those liverwort sporophytes are amazing! As for the moss it looks like R. loreus.
