Field Notes

Description:

Brown in color. Growing independently. Wet appearance due to rainfall. Underside is light brown. Button or nipple-like cap.

Habitat:

in the marshy-mossy grass lawn of our front yard. South facing exposure, means it was not in shade, but LOTS of moisture due to heavy rainfall & water-retaining peat moss.
