well the more red the better coz otherwise are a bit bitter ;) and dont forget to inform me what was it like ;)
They are not so red . They always have yellow in them. Will try one after consulting some locals here.
No no, i'm eating them all the time, and when i was a child i used to eat 5 a day and i had some digestion problems but nothing else happened, well my mother ate them alot when she was 5 and then almost died!! Is not risky if u try one ;) and they are so sweet :P
injica ,so many things around here seem to be edible. A little scared to try them. But in case of emergencies ,like earthquakes when there could be food shortage ,always good to know these things. Hope there is never one though. But it is always on the mind!
this berries are edible but not more that 5 a day (for kids 1 a day), coz they contain a toxin which coz causehigh fever and problems with digestion, therefore could be lethal for the childrens. This berries are also rich in vitamin C and arbutin- a substance passing through the kidneys desinfect them coz of antibacterial activity.
