Description:

colorful designs at the back, hairy, tiny and elusive jumping spider with metallic body

Notes:

Siler semiglaucus, originally described in 1901 and having a range from South-East Asia to Malaysia and Papua New Guinea. They have a curious habit of waving their forelegs in the air..they are predators of ants.

Yes, I noticed it too. I can't tell you the answer actually. I guess that maybe the hairs grow as it age.

thanks ChunXingWong...yes it does rise and lowers its "arm" but there is a slight difference..noticed the hairs on the arms...?

It's a Siler semiglaucus jumping spider. I'm sure you have noticed it always rising and lowering it's "arm".
