That and IUCN's map look quite conservative for RSA. But many on-line references including http://www.biodiversityexplorer.org/reptiles/squamata/agamidae/acanthocercus_atricollis.htm demonstrate Acanthocercus atricollis extending further south into the country including the area of this spotting.
