Field Notes

Description:

Large spider 1.25" in length. Abdomen 3/4" long and covered with black and yellow markings. Tan egg sac approximately the size of a large marble.

Habitat:

Large, circular web located on a trellised vertical garden of tomato plants in the science courtyard of our school. Approximately 6 hours of full sunlight.
