KarenL,Thank you.I will do better next time.I couldn't tell how long he was.It startled me.I felt lucky to be able to find him after getting the camera.
Your state does not have the smooth greensnake (Opheodrys vernalis), so by default it's the rough greensnake. :-)

If you could fill in as much info as possible (description, size etc.) in the description field it will help the community to identify the species for you. You can use the habitat field to say that it was found in a peach tree in your yard.
