Description:

This beautiful Melastomaceae is growing wild.

It is a small tree (3-6 m), growing in a steep hill near a stream. Is flowering this year in november.

It belongs to the genus Blakea.

Habitat:

At 2000 m.a.s.l. in the clouds forest habitat or very humid tropical mountain forest.
