Description:

A medium sized snake that somewhat resembles a Water Moccasin, but is non-venomous.

Habitat:

Shark Valley at the northern edge of Everglades NP.

Especially in the last photo, you can see the very unusual head shape that is distinctive of the brown water snake. They also have very rectangular blotches compared to the other Nerodia sp.
