great - thanks, Alex....I had the slight feeling that it's the coral spot, but decided for the rasperrey falsely due to the color ;)

That's a bit due to the poor quality of the pics, Clive - it's moisture that's caught by the specimen, making it look like cracking up the bark...but it's just water. I try to get a better shot of it the upcoming days.
