nope this isn't captive...found it crossing when we went on a mountain trek...
Was this a captive specimen? Because it looks like a red-legged millipede, Epibolus pulchripes
This millipede is big...thank you Ursula..thank you also BalincaguinConservancy...N.americanus has a gray color and this one has black...i don't know...hehehe..but thank you guys...
Not sure about the N. americanus suggestion because EOL has its distribution only in North America, thus: "Narceus millipedes are known from two Canadian provinces (Québec and Ontario); every U.S. state east of the Mississippi River; and nine states to the west (Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas)." http://eol.org/pages/310313/details#distribution
