Description:
The larvae of Heliotrope Moths are often seen in silk nests. It is thought that the nests provide some protection against predation.
Habitat:
These Heliotrope Moth larvae were spotted in the farm on their local host plants, Scorpion Weed (Heliotropium indicum), called "Trompang Elepante" in the Philippine national language.
