Description:
Epiphytic fern found in freshwater wetland areas of Florida. Is brown and shriveled up during the dry season. Upon the first rain this fern "resurrects" into lush green foliage. Quite a spectacular sight, see all photos. Nomenclature (scientific name) unknown.

Looking forward to more photos of this wonderful fallen tree this rainy season. According to one park ranger, it is the most photographed tree in 6 Mile Cypress Slough Nature Preserve in Ft Myers Florida. Its easy to see why...
