Description:
The brown, bean-like pods contain a tart, sticky pulp used to flavor drinks, candies, sauces (including Worcestershire sauce), curries, preserves and chutney. Tamarind trees are grown throughout temperate and tropical regions of the world, especially in Africa, southeastern Asia and Mexico.
