Description:

Very large bird standing up to 100cm with a 15-195 cm wingspan

Habitat:

They reside in watery places such as lakes, rivers etc

Notes:

They breed in the north and migrate to the tropics
They hunt in the water . They eat food such as fish , frogs , turtles etc

Species ID Suggestions

Agree with annorion. Unless you spotted this in captivity, it would be a Great Blue Heron.
Grey Heron is European species. Hard to tell from pic but if it looks like a Grey Heron than it is most likely the North American species Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias). Hope this helps!
