Habitat:

Alpine zone on Mt. Washington, NH.

Notes:

This plant was abundant in the area where I was hiking. It was a mound shape, and was about seven inches wide. Some of them were more than a foot across, but I don't remember seeing any that were more than about eight inches tall.
