Description:

Photo take in my front door at night, very common in this area nocturnal toad.
The Gulf Coast Toad is a medium sized toad species I. valliceps has the most extensive ridging of any toad in its geographic range. The ridges extend from the nose, to the back of the head, and with a branch that wraps around the back side of the eye.

Habitat:

Found in a wide range of habitats, native of Louisiana, México all the way to Costa Rica.

Thanks Mary I was thinking the same or maybe is a juvenile one??
Nice photo series and spotting. Looks a bit smooth to be a southern toad - they tend to be very bumpy (warty).
