Description:

This is a slender and elegant long-tailed pigeon, brown above and rosy-buff bellow, with distinctively grey head. Its main morphological feature is large white-spotted black semi-collar.

Habitat:

Observed occasionally in rural areas of Teknaf peninsula, usually around agricultural fields, in and around the protected area. Common in India and south-east Asia.
