i had a look again. These seem to be seed pods more than leaflets.

Thnx Arlanda. Yes, it is pretty similar to your spotting. Samaras from 3 different part of the world at nearly the same time of the year!. interesting. Sachin from India,yours from Spain and California here.

These clustered leaves are so pretty! It's one of only 10 nature pics I took while in Europe - before I became addicted to PN :) It took me months to figure out what it was!
