Field Notes

Description:

A beautifully plush looking moth with chromed antennae and a classy tri-coloured fur coat and stole. At rest the back is cream, light and dark brown wavy lines with some rich orange spots overlaid.
(22mm length)

Habitat:

Wall at night. Suburban fringe to open eucalyptus forest.

Notes:

Some moths certainly dress well for a night out.
Those antennae look exactly like a flexible stemmed lamp we have.
