Habitat:

Found amongst tangled vines in the fallow part of our vegetable garden.

Notes:

A large specimen of this species. When I looked for it on August 10th it was gone.

Hi Tom, I like your Argiope auranatia. The colours are striking and it looks very robust. We have a few Argiope species here and they are also colourful. I can't resist taking some pictures every time I see one. So I have ended up with hundreds of pictures that I don't really need and they are taking up too much space on my hard drive. So, I will probably have to erase them sooner or later. John B.
