Field Notes

Description:

The flowers on this Goodenia variety were the largest I've seen being about 25 mm across. The petals were slightly separated with undulating margins. The single flowers were suppoerted by erect stalks which rose from trailing prostrate stems. Leaves were long broader at the tip with toothed margins. The stems were hirsute.

Habitat:

Spotted on the sides of tracks in a reserve with mixed natives. Mostly in semi shade.

Notes:

Family: Goodeniaceae
