Field Notes

Habitat:

Found in our vegetable garden feeding on a Tithonia rotundifolia flower which has naturalized as a weed in our garden. As our vegetables finish we allow them and other plants especially various species of Ipomoea to take over. Their flowers attract a large number of hummingbirds, butterflies and other insects.
