Description:

Including its light-colored shell, this small grayish-black snail was about half an inch and moved ever so slowly. A snail is a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod molluscs, which basically means a gastropod in a shell.

Habitat:

Grassy area on middle Tennessee school campus a day after rain.
