Thank you, Leuba - there are (controversely discussed) about 150-300 different species of peat mosses worldwide - the glancing one is just one of them; the brown one you mentioned is (regarding color) in the minority - most of them are green (more or less)
lovely close shots, Lars -thanks for sharing. I've only ever seen peat moss represented as dry brown stuff
