Description:

A long-legged fly of the family Micropezidae. Very long orange and black banded legs, red eyes and a banded yellow and black abdomen. About 1 cm in length.

Habitat:

Semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
