Description:

Geocoridae; Geocorinae; Geocoris; (Geocoris); Geocoris flaviceps; Stal, 1854. This is a small, black predaceous bug with huge red eyes. Back in 2016, I posted a spotting of this species catching a prey insect. https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1535529712.....

Habitat:

Spotted in our backyard vegetable plot, on String Beans (Vigna unguiculata L.). In the Philippines, String Beans are called Sitaw. Plant information is from http://www.stuartxchange.org/Sitaw.....
