Description:

Apparently this is the place to be in the evening if you're a water bird. Many species, with incredible plumage. Photographed at 6 Mile Cypress Slough Nature Preserve in Ft Myers Florida.

Habitat:

Cypress Tree Slough, wetland habitat

Notes:

What an incredible sight! Birds coming to roost for the night. This is one of my favorite protected areas. I go once or twice per week. Spot everything from pigs to snakes and everything inbetween! Never disapointed in a trip to the Slough :)
