Description:

These honey brown case bearing leaf beetles bite large slices from their gumtree hosts. AKA Cylinder beetles because of their shape, the larvae build a protective case to live in.

Notes:

Another species found earlier looks similar. This one lacks four darker dots on the elytra. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8322758
