Field Notes

Description:

This damselfly (or dragonfly, as I first assumed) was around some rocks, maybe a foot off of the ground, taking a break on a stem. It was slightly blue with gray and some black on the body and in the wings.

Habitat:

This guy was within 15 feet of a lake when I found him, most likely feeding on the mosquitoes that my group had attracted outside. The ground where he lives is most likely damp, but where I found him was mostly dry.
