Field Notes

Description:

The female pictured here has a gray cap that extends down the back of the head. Its back, wings and tail are also gray colored. The underparts are white with slight gray streaking forward and a peach-colored patch towards the tail..

Habitat:

This bird was found in a deserted lot in the very north of Quito, Ecuador (2,850 masl).

Notes:
