Field Notes

Description:

This beautiful wasp was roughly 1.5 inches long. I have no idea of its identity any further than it being a potter wasp.

Habitat:

Seen on a concrete base of a covered walkway next to a field and an open drain in an urban setting.

Notes:

Seen here building a "pot" for her young.
