Field Notes
Description:
American Kestrels males have slate-blue wings. Females have reddish brown wings. They are easily identified by the black vertical lines on the sides of their faces.
Habitat:
The first three photos are of one bird that was calling loudly from the roof across the street. The last photo is of the bird that flew in and landed on the back side of the roof in response to the calls.
