I think this is more likely M. dubia, because of the multi-tone abdomen. M. asperata more commonly has the wide longitudinal bands on the carapace, but I did find one M. dubia that did as well: http://bugguide.net/node/view/525808/bgimage BTW, I'm the go-to guy for the flower Thomisids on BugGuide -- they rely on my findings to make their determinations.
