Description:

Harmless, hairy and angular, they have strong wings. It feeds on pollen, decaying fruit, and tree sap. Caterpillars are green or light brown.Cocoons formed under leaf at soil's surface.

Habitat:

Resident year-round in southern states and migrates north in warmer months.
