I definitely see the similarity when I look at the flower of the Wandering Jew plant.

Wow, I didn't know it was a species of Spiderwort. Very interesting!

Actually it looks like Tradescantia zebrina which is known as wandering jew but is a species of spiderwort.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tradescantia_zebrina

Well the plants currently indoors the will make it back to her Midwest Garden are certainly welcome in the mission.

Were you sure on your ID? wild spiderwort looks much different than this. This reminds me of a Jew plant.

Hi KarenL. Flora is impatient for the thaw like all children in Wisconsin at the moment. She is so excited about Project Noah. She and her botanist grandfather were documenting those plants that are planted in her midwestern garden (for the midwestern garden mission) but currently inside due to the season. Additionally, when she discovered there was a "pet" category, she was thrilled because she hoped someone would help her identify what kind of rescue dog she adopted. I appreciate your concern but with this context, hopefully you will understand her decisions, there. Thanks!
