Vine-like plant growing under the leaves and very green even in late February! Round, circular-shaped leaves.

Habitat:

Damp flood plain forest

That's Creeping Jenny, or Moneywort, Lysimachia nummularia. It's introduced in the U.S. and can be invasive in damp areas.
