Description:

From "The Field Guide to the Wildflowers of Georgia and the Surrounding States" - found in moist forests, lake and marsh edges, coastal dunes, and roadsides, primarily in Georgia's coastal counties. This specimen was found on a lake shore in the Georgia Piedmont. Grows up to 5 feet long, vine-like. Flowers are about 1/2 inch long, white with red streaks, pea-shaped. Blooms July through September.

Georgia Piedmont / Indian Springs State Park
