Description:

About 18mm long. Feeding on Leptospermum scoparium flowers.

Habitat:

In a local national park.

Notes:

This one could well be a part of a ring of Batesian mimicry working around this Lycid beetle http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1098516003 and including this Cerambycidae http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1050046008 They all appear around the same time and use the same plants. <br>

Thanks Martin. I was just reviewing the full list of Castiarina species today and thinking about the natural stands of ti-tree around the state. It's an inviting challenge for sure.
