Field Notes

Description:

Distinctive plant with rose-like leaves (in the same family as a rose), and tassel-like flower spikes. I never took really close up photos, so I didn't realize that the actual flowers were green. The white parts are the stamens.

Habitat:

Densely vegetated cape among lots of other wildflowers
