Description:

Family: Green algae and plants
It is characterized by its small disk-shaped umbrella greenish-white, which is radially striated and reach 1.5 cm in diameter. Hence comes the name because etymologically from the Latin, acetabulum means disc or saucer. It has a long slender stalk that allows you to reach 8 cm in height and grip the substrate. Se caracteriza por su forma de disco o pequeña sombrilla de color blanco-verdoso, que es estriado radialmente y puede alcanzar 1,5 cm de diámetro. De aquí le viene el nombre, ya que etimológicamente del latín, acetabulum significa disco o platillo. Tiene un pedicelo largo y delgado que le permite alcanzar los 8 cm de altura y agarrarse al sustrato. Está calcificada.

Habitat:

Aguas someras de la laguna Mar Menor. La Manga.
