Description:

This owl flew over me and into this tree, I don't see owl's during the day much. There are 3 that live around our property, see them at night, very loud sometimes!

Trust me....after he/she did the fly-over my head I gave them their space back, those talons looked wicked!
Nice shot! You were pretty close, weren't you? I have to say that YES you may have been "brushed" by the owl on purpose! They will defend their territory if they have a nest and have eggs or babies to protect...and it's definitely that time of the year! You may be a pincushion if you get too close!
Actually I had a great day taking pics! Just kidding, I'll look back on the dates, I'm going to fast!
I'm guessing your spottings so far were not all from today, so one thing to make sure of is to note the exact date of the spotting. The field for that is directly under the location.:-)
I don't think so. Although, he may have been flying away from the nest. They will do that, in order to get predators away from the nest and female.
I know!! It kinda freaked me out because he flew over me, do they protect nests that way or something?
Nice spotting! Owls are hard to find during the day!
