Thanks so much to both of you for your information!
I've couple shot of flying green peafowl which I found in bamboo forest of Thailand. Actually they do fly, one photo that I took is their 100 meters flight.
Yes, we have them in United States, they are common at theme parks and zoos but ours do not generally fly. It's a beautiful bird. I knew they were natural to India but wasn't sure if they actually flew. Must be cool to take a walk in the forest and see these just wandering. Our forest fowl that's common and this size is the turkey. Not quite so showy but fascinating none the less.
Yes apple they fly ! But short distance . It's a national bird of India ! And we find it through out India in all types of forest ! The males are beautiful !
I've never seen one in a wild setting. Do they fly at all?
