Sounds like the mockingbird maybe protecting a nest close by!
The mocking bird was dive bombing him....he was annoyed
Very nice. I don't think the other bird is a raptor - a mockingbird perhaps? The smaller birds will often stay close to the hawks to keep an eye on them.
Nice spotting. It looks like there's another raptor on a branch further back.
