California Tortoiseshell

I have not seen this yet .I did see some stuff that I had been searching for a while .Like the aquatic garter snake ,tussock moth etc. This time I took a course in migratory birds. I was simply delited to discover the neotropical migrants My desk top is still not replaced .So it will be a while before I upload more .I did see the Potoo bird in Costa rica. On a recent night hike ,I saw the glow in the dark scorpions on Mt Diablo. We were actually looking for the "Poor Will" We heard him but did not see them. Night hikes are magical and you must try guided ones offered by the parks .Mt Diablo surely is magical!
