Description:

This is one of the many deer that hang out in my yard, he is very gentle! Just joined, hope I'm doing it right!! I have a ton of amazing pics from around my home, do I post those too? Love the mission of this site!

There is a product called "I must garden" that you can spray on plants you want to keep and it works very well for several of us in NC. I also have a home remedy that works incorporating tabasco sauce, cayenne pepper, eggs, water, garlic. You blend it and let it stand for a couple days before spraying on.The deer coming to my yard now know which ones I regularly spray so they mostly stay away from those even when I haven't reapplied it after rain.

Thank you! I enjoy him even though I have a difficult time growing a garden, last year I gave up because they were always figuring out how to get in and eat everything! This winter they hung out right out my front door waiting for corn and protein, I was eating a grill cheese and just tossed it out in the yard to see and they ate it! Powered donuts too! When they are hungry they will eat anything!
